Leonard fashions are widely known for their bold and meticulous prints. Having been compared to the designs of Italian designer, Emilio Pucci, Leonard retains a particular softness in theirs. After 1970, the Leonard brand introduced luxury jersey fabrics that became the signature of the brand to this day. Made from this high-quality silk jersey, this kimono style Leonard dress features a detailed floral motif in stimulating, analogous colors of crimson, red-orange, fuchsia, violet, and magenta that are toned by the thing leaves in sage green and a dusty lilac. The colors are enhanced by the rich black ground of the fabric. The fabric drapes lightly over the body playing interestingly against the wearer, and the volume designed into the bishop style sleeves. Falling just below the knee, this dress works wonderfully as a stand-alone piece or as an addition to an ensemble. Size estimate: S/M Measurements: Shoulders: no defined seams Sleeves: 24 inches Bust, Waist, Hips: up to 40 inches Length: 42 inches Due to the stretch of the jersey, this dress can be worn on women from approximately size XS to M depending on the desired fit. For smaller ladies it can be simply styled with a belt! Unlined, this dress has no closures and is in excellent condition. High-quality vintage pieces like this are yours to live in and love while increasing in value every year. It’s never too soon to start collecting them, as an investment in your wardrobe—and in yourself.
