Charming Victorian earrings with hand painted miniatures of Indian noblemen on each. Set in silver with a gold edge around frame. These were presumably made for export in the late 19th Century and are unusual in earring form. Pins and bracelets are more prevalent. Vermeil finish on back. Fleur de lis motif at ear with hinge which allows miniature to gently swing. 1.5" x .6" wide. 1890's India. Excellent condition.
