This is a stunning antique Chinese Cinnabar Ring with a central carved Lotus flower motif. The silver gilt setting is an ornate filigree design. The Lotus Flower carving of the antique Cinnabar is just gorgeous. The setting has beautiful open work, filigree and beaded designs. The ring is an antique Chinese jewel. It is a bit difficult to date but dates to the Art Deco period or considerably earlier. The cinnabar is 20mm by 15mm. The ring is adjustable. It is currently a size 9.5 US (T UK) and can be easily resized if desired by compressing the open band. The ring is hallmarked SILVER. The ring weighs 4.4 grams.
