Beautiful refined desk model 56 designed by Arne Wahl Iversen and manufactured by Vinde Møbelfabrik, Denmark 1961. Along with Hans Wegner, Arne Jacobsen and Børge Mogensen, Arne Wahl Iversen was one of the great masters of Danish design of the mid-century. This writing desk has a beautiful open look due the high cylindrical legs. It has functional storage facilities with three deep drawers and a hidden storage space in the tabletop. Well-crafted symmetric desk with two levels, made of beautiful warm grained solid and veneered teak wood. The case stands on a braced leg base providing a spacious kneehole. Two drawers has a lock and the original keys are included._x000D_ _x000D_ This amazing desk is in very good condition, the top is refinished with a high quality UV and water protective lacquer with preservation of authenticity. The desk is marked with the manufacturer stamp “France & Son” tag and golden stamp " Vinde Møbelfabrik (VW)" underneath the top. An incredibly catch for any modern home, office or interior.
