A beautiful early 1930's marquise shaped diamond and moonstone cocktail dress ring set in platinum. The piece centrally features a single cabochon moonstone, claw set amongst a double tiered diamond cluster. This ring is a true statement piece! The pairing of moonstone and diamond makes a marvelous contrast and combination whilst on the hand and the moonstone displays a beautiful array of colors. The moonstone is approximately 7mm in diameter with the ring itself being 4.5cm in length. The diamonds are Old European cut and estimated as G/H colour and SI clarity and are grain set with mille grain edges to a detailed open wire work head and tapered shoulders with a floral engraved motif. The ring is currently a UK size I 1/2; USA size 4 1/2; EU size 48 but can be sized upon request. Total diamond carat weight approximately 1.70ct.
