This spectacular dress ring of a bombe domed design is pave-set with 26 natural unheated cherry-colored rubies surrounded by a stylized double scroll border embellished with 30 single-cut and Transitional round brilliant-cut diamonds, flowing through to an architectural ribbed tapering shank in rose gold. Rubies: approximately 3.0 carats in total; geographic origin opinion: Burma (Myanmar). Diamonds: approximately 0.35ct in total. Tested as gold and platinum, not hallmarked. Finger size: 49.5 (EU), but it will wear bigger due to the concave design of the inside. Gross weight: 10.7g. This item is in good condition, with marks and scratches consistent with general age and wear. Antique, period and vintage pieces, both signed and unsigned, are being offered as worn.
