Beautiful Art Deco sterling silver oval opening locket and chain, featuring a lovely hand engraved leaf design to the front and an abstract design to the back. The front of the locket has space for an engraved initial. The oval locket measures 3.4cm / 1.33 inches by 2.15cm / .84 inch. The locket has scratching as expected. One of the inside rings is missing, and the other has come loose, we have left as is. The hinge and clasp work well, and the locket closes tightly. The vintage sterling silver Prince of Wales chain is not the original, but blends well, and measures length 59.5cmcm / 23.42 inches. The jump ring is not the original and is not sterling silver. This is a fabulous Art Deco sterling silver locket and chain, circa 1930s.
