The Resort 2014 collection was an homage to Balenciaga’s roots. Creative director Alexander Wang refreshed the signature Balenciaga shapes and silhouettes and found new places to inject the embellishment of the classic house in modern ways. Highlighted through that collection, this bucket hat is done in hundreds of black faux patent leather loops. The glossy loops glisten like oil as the loops appear to pour over this form of the hat. An unconventional material, this hat is perfect to pair with a dressy look but the hats fringe like quality also makes it an excellent casual option too.
