Certified 40-carat natural unheated Ceylon (Sri Lankan) yellow sapphire, ruby and diamond cluster cocktail ring in 14kt yellow gold. Made in an unusual warm alloy that is in between yellow and white gold, this vintage jewel features a rare cushion mixed-cut natural yellow sapphire of an incredible eye-clean clarity double talon claw-set to the center, surrounded by an elegant halo of 40 colorless single-cut diamonds, the shoulders further accented with a pear-shape purplish-red ruby on each side, all stones in open-back settings with an openwork scalloped gallery, leading to a solid D-shape gold shank. Sapphire: Cushion mixed-cut; 40.00 carats; Light Yellow color; eye clean clarity; no indications of treatment; origin opinion Sri Lanka (Ceylon); accompanied by World Gemological Institute report WGI9624130838 (dated 09/09/2021). Diamonds: 40 stones; single-cut; 0.40 carats in total; G-H color; VS2-SI1 clarity. Rubies: 2 stones; pear-shape; 0.20 carat in total; pinkish-red color. Dimensions: finger size 54.5 with sizing beads (EU), but it can be sized up or down. Gross weight: 13.9g.
