This unique clock is a million years old, well at least the agate stone frame is. The clock, dating from the late 1920's is from a famous old house based in London with offices in South America and France. Mappin & Webb produced exceptionally fine watches and jewelry for exclusive clients worldwide. The agate stone frame is custom made in our own workshops. It takes as many as fifteen craftsmen to produce one of them and most of them take 12 months to finish. Holding one up to the light is a delight. They are as beautiful from the front, in the light as they are from behind. Beautiful things should be viewed from all angles. Don't you think? This impressive clock looks great on a desk whether it faces you or the other person seated at your desk. It is dependable and runs for 8 days as well. But, don't expect it keep time like your modern quartz clock. It is eccentric but respectful.
