Victorian 15 Karat Yellow Gold Ruby and Diamond Bangle, Trefoil

A gorgeous antique, Victorian era Ruby and Diamond bangle. This piece has got everything going for it and oozes Victorian charm, this was made for a lady of style, one who wanted to stand out. The 15 karat yellow gold bangle has a decorative wheat plait design which gives an optical illusion when gently moved, like liquid gold. To the front there is a scrolling wavy setting making the entrance for the beautifully presented Ruby and Diamond trefoils. There are three trefoils to the front a larger central one with two smaller ones either set, each trefoil is set with two pinky red rubies and a single white diamond. The gold is warm and rich and the bangle has a push hinge fastener with a built in safety chain. It is stamped 15 on the inner hinge, C1890s, Victorian era. Rubies are approx 0.37ct in total and the diamonds approx 0.21ct total, estimated in setting. An absolutely impeccable piece, this would make a most memorable gift someone special or a real treat for yourself.
