Stunning Christian Dior silver tone brooch in the Art Deco style, and featuring clear rhinestones and black glass stones, stamped ChrDior Germany. The brooch is finished with a lovely single rhinestone drop. Length 6.2cm / 2.44 inches, by maximum width 4.2cm / 1.65 inches. This is a high quality vintage brooch with glittering bright rhinestones from the couture house of Christian Dior. In 1946 Christian Dior opened 'Maison Dior' in Paris. It was not until 1950 however that Dior began to make costume jewellery to match his clothing collections. Always well made, Dior has been one of the most successful couture companies to this day.
