Beautiful Coblentz Italian soft black leather handbag with a faux tortoiseshell foldover clasp, and featuring five pleats to the front and back. Measuring 24.5cm / 9.64 inches at the base, height 15.5cm / 6.1 inches, and maximum depth approximately 6cm / 2.36 inches. The handle drop is 13.33cm / 5.25 inches. Inside there is a black leather lining and two open pockets and one zip pocket. Wear is as expected. There is some minor scratching to the clasp. One of the hinges is loose, but is in working order. This a quality and stylish soft leather bag by The Coblentz Bag Company, who were based in New York from the 1930s to 1970s.
