Splendid, beautifully proportioned George II period sterling silver caster, Jabez Daniel, London, 1737. Of classic baluster form with lovely shell shaped perforated top upon a circular spreading foot. The body with wonderful period stepped lettering T C E with a stylized star. Marks on base: Lion Passant, London Town, b for 1737, makers initials GD in script for Jabez Daniel Excellent good condition with wonderful patina.
