Very fine quality George III period sterling silver goblet, 1783. Exceptional engraving on this piece, elegant garlands of acanthus leaf and roses held by quatrefoil rosettes at each crest with a long, lovely decorative tendril. Ornate, fanciful WB initials. Fine bell flower border at the rim and base of the foot. Light gilding to the interior. Excellent condition throughout. Salute, Na zdorovye, Sante, Kampai! Marks: JD in fine script, Lion Passant, London town mark, h corresponding to the year 1783
