A beautiful antique, late Victorian era sterling silver locket brooch. It is designed in the aesthetic manner engraving to the front with applied 9kt yellow and Rose gold accents with little forget me not flowers and a rose gold plait design down the front. It is a locket back brooch with a compartment to the reverse and a lift out glazed panel, could be used to store a tiny keepsake or a lock of hair but is currently empty. It has an old C type clasp and pin fastener. Late Victorian era, c1880s, unmarked, tests as silver and 9kt gold. Approx measurements: 1.70" width 1.10" length Weighs approx 8.24 grams Condition: Good used condition overall, light surface wear commensurate with age, a tiny ding / dent to the gold beads.
