Antique Victorian Gold Locket Pendant Flower Motif Engraved Monogram

A GORGEOUS VICTORIAN BELLE EPOQUE PICTURE LOCKET PENDANT IN WARM 10 KARAT GOLD WITH BEAUTIFUL FLOWER AND ACANTHUS LEAF MOTIF ENGRAVING ON THE FRONT AND AN ENGRAVED MONOGRAM ON THE REVERSE. THE LOCKET IS A PERFECT SIZE - 1 1/4 INCHES IN DIAMETER. This is just a stunning Victorian Belle Epoque picture locket! It is in a lovely solid 10 Karat gold with charming and very detailed engraving of a flower motif surrounded by scrolling acanthus leaves. The engraving is beautifully done and creates a romantic delicate period jewel. On the reverse are two monogram initials in a lovely Victorian design. The initials may be H B. The locket opens to reveal the photo compartments with places for 2 photos. The original insert and perspex cover are present on both sides. The listing is only for the locket. The chain is only shown for display. The locket is in excellent condition. It opens and closes securely. The locket is 1 1/2 inches long (40 mm) including the bales. Without the bales it is 1 1/4 inches (30mm) in diameter. The locket weighs 6.5 grams. The locket tests for 10K gold.
