Zardozi Floral Embroidered Black Velvet Shoulder Bag circa 1950s

Zardozi floral embroidered black velvet shoulder bag with a snap clasp, featuring golden and silver tone metal work and coloured stone decoration, and with a gold and black twist strap. The embroidery covers the front and back. Measuring width 19.8cm / 7.8 inches by height 12.8cm / 5 inches, and the strap is length 99cm / 39 inches. Inside there is a black satin lining with three pockets, two of which have golden edging. This very beautiful vintage bag is in very good condition. This is a fine example of this type of bag, a rare find. Circa 1950s.
